Thanks. Almost busted my L10 apart trying to replace the bottom cover. Managed it, no problem after finding this guide. Thanks so much. It still works despite all my blundering around trying to take it apart and dissassembling and reassembling twice because I forgot the speaker cable. It now has a “new” bottom cover replacing the broken battery latch, missing feet etc. Did it all myself using these instructions. Would have given up otherwise. Well done for making this available!!!

Is this the same as the instructions for the L20? The L20 isn’t listed.

Great site. Paid £80 to have the plug refitted by a computer repair company. the repair last a couple of weeks and they wanted to charge another £80 to redo the repair. Found this web site and did the job myself. The plug havdn’t been soldered in properly. Now working properly.
I would add to parts to your instructions.
Firstly at stage 5 remove the 3 silver flat headed screws from the outside edge of the battery housing at the same time as undoing the clips.
Secondly at the same time removed the hex headed screws that secure the external monitor port (left side on laptop as viewed normally.
Otherwise a cracking fix. Thanks guys you saved me £80. ……H
